Telescopic Beam
Telescopic beam cranes are usually used in pairs with an integral power pack, they consist of a carriage, primary and secondary extension.
Disadvantages
- Due to the box in a box situation the depth is more than the sliding beam crane
- Hydraulic, potential for leaks causing oil behind headlining/on Teak
- Less cost effective than sliding beam.
Advantages
- short length in relation to extension
- self contained winch
- MCA version
Usual use
- single side garage or side deck mounted tender when there is no ability to use more width than the side deck or side garage
